Spectrum of Magical Light
Tanjung Lipat is where pictureque sceneries can be observed. The scenery will undergo transmutation depending on the hour of the day and night. On a bright sunny day during the sunset hour the Yayasan Rotunda (round-shaped, sticking out on left) building reflects sunlight to give out a sense of tranquility in a dreamy-like world. Small fishing vessels can be seen from time to time set against the backdrop of the open sea and islands- it’s a Heaven-send. Anglers will congregate at this place during the weekends to do spot of fishing. I am sure you will have more stories to tell after you have spent a day or two there. As for me, I am just a stranger passing through, day in day out.
Just in case you are curious to know- Tanjung Lipat is on the Likas Coastal Highway. The Sabah Port (KK) and the surrounding areas are collectively known as Tanjung Lipat. Hitch a ride, if you can, or take a bus going on the Coastal Highway route at the bus stop by Wisma Sabah.
