And I am paying for it now- aching all over. It looked like fun and easy but it sure ain’t. Whoever came up with that daft idea must have his head examined. No matter, you should try it. Just make sure you don’t let yourself cast adrift into the open sea. It’s Tavvauvutit (Sayonara!) if you do.

Some 5-star resorts in Kota Kinabalu offer this recreational activity. And I think Outward Bound Sabah as well, but as a package to include other activities. OBS caters more to the corporate bodies than individuals and requires group participation.

Kayak Competition

There may be an association for this sport. But it is a members-only club. Or you may try booking through a tour company, which is more geared towards white water rafting. To try out the sea kayaking, better bet would be the resorts- Sutera Harbour, Shangri-la Tanjung Aru & Rasa Ria. Other smaller resorts did offer this recreational sport at one time.
