Take A Walk On The Wild Side

A much neglected, under-rated & under-maintained park in Kota Kinabalu. But, in my humble opinion, it’s wild and yet still the best park in the whole of Sabah. It is, I think, the first public park in Kota Kinabalu and was built to commemorate the Royal Visit to Sabah by the British Royal Family. And the park was thus so named after Prince Philip, the consort of Queen Elizabeth II. At one time this park also underwent a name change to Tanjung Aru Beach Park, so I was told.
