A Red Dwarf from Jamaica

A strange little plant this is. It just suddenly sprang right before my eyes. It was the first time I have ever seen such a flower (or is it a plant?) when I happened to  drop by at a local popular resort (Rasa Ria). I may have seen this plant somewhere else before but not really sure.

Pink’s (What) I Saw Lah!

Can’t say for sure if this species of flower is common in Sabah. But I certainly have not seen them much in the local parks (hibiscus is a sure thing- hibiscus means park over here and vice versa) nor in a private garden.

Build Me Up Buttercup

Not quite a buttercup but Bornean version. Yet, it still has the bells and whistles to the buttercup. One of the popular flowers in Kota Kinabalu.

Hymenocallis, A Beautiful Mind

This species of flower must be super popular in Kota Kinabalu. You can find them almost everywhere. At first glance, they look almost like artificial flowers but on closer look ………
