It was a cloudy and drizzling day (17/01/09), but all the fun was had at the Padang Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu. And you know what? The show was finished early and on time. Even a member of a dance troupe was commenting and praising on the fact. Not too much protocols and speeches on the day, perhaps?  I wouldn’t know. I skipped the first part of the show to avoid the dreary and boring speeches & protocols usually given on such events. Still, more are yet to come if you had missed the event. Watch out on the Jan., 25th and Feb., 11th. Dance troupes will be out in force  around town on the days. Other days will greatly depend on your luck- you may happen to catch a lion acrobatic display invited by some shop owner to greet & grace the shop’s re-opening after the New Year’s breaks. Remember: No Pain, No Gain!
