Winter Wonderland In the Tropic

If you are from a tropical country you may like to spend your Christmas in Kundasang or Ranau to have a feel of that X’mas spirit in the winter with that nippy and misty atmosphere. And maybe you could also have your mid-Night mass in the Church of St. Peter Claver, Ranau.

We do not promise any white Christmas though. But it’s as good as Christmas in the Winter Wonderland, nonetheless. What’s more, you have the celebrated Mt. Kinabalu as a backdrop- and waking up to the crisp Christmas morning with the majestic mountain staring down at you. What more can a man/woman ask for?

Dumbos in Borneo

Regarded as a sub-species of the Asian elephants, the Borneo elephants are distinguished by their smaller sizes, larger ears and longer tails with babyish faces. But, somehow, they all look the same to me. Pardon me for the ignorance.
